Games & tables
The game types, how a seat works, the in-hand controls — and what happens to your chips when a tournament is cancelled.
A club offers two shapes of game: ongoing cash games and single-table Sit & Go tournaments. Each game is one variant (the card game) played in one format (the structure).
Variants and formats
- Variants: No-Limit Hold'em (NLH) and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4, four hole cards).
- Cash: an ongoing ring game; sit down with a buy-in, leave whenever you like.
- Sit & Go: auto-starts when full. HUSNG (heads-up, winner-take-all), 6-Max SNG (top 2 paid, 70/30), and 9-Max SNG (top 3 paid, 50/30/20).
Variant decides hole-card count and seat limit; format decides the structure, the required headcount, and the prize split. SNGs have no scheduled start — they just fill and go.
Taking a seat
- Cash: click an open seat to reserve it (you have a short window, ~20 seconds), then choose a buy-in within the table's min/max and sit. A full table offers a waitlist instead, with a one-time seat offer when one frees up.
- SNG: register (paying the buy-in plus a separate fee); seats are assigned automatically when the game starts. You can unregister while it's still filling and get the buy-in and the fee back in full.
- Auto buy-in can skip the dialog and sit you for a preset min or max amount.
- Union games: if the table or tournament belongs to a union, you enter through one of your clubs in that union — the app asks which when there's a choice. That club's balance funds the seat, and everything (winnings, refunds, prizes) flows back to it. See the overview.
In-hand controls
- Standard actions — fold, check, call, bet, raise — with bet sizing via a slider and quick-bet presets (big blinds, % of pot, Pot, Min, Max), configurable for pre-flop and post-flop.
- Pre-actions let you queue a decision (e.g. check/fold) before your turn.
- Sit out skips you for upcoming hands; the action timer and a small timebank govern how long you have to act before you're auto-checked/folded.
- A chat & table info panel shows table details and messages.
The button and the blinds
Every game on the platform uses the casino-style moving button — not the "dead button" rule you may know from other sites. Each hand, the button simply advances to the next player who can play; it never parks on an empty seat and never stays put for an extra hand. The blinds follow from there:
- The small blind is the first eligible player after the button. If that spot is an empty or ineligible seat, the hand is played with a dead small blind — nobody posts it, and play skips to the big blind.
- The big blind is always a live player — every hand has one.
- A player who just sat down may be asked to wait for the big blind to reach them before being dealt in.
If a tournament is cancelled
Cancelling a tournament that has collected buy-ins is deliberately hard: only the owner (club owner for club games, union owner for union games) can do it, and it runs as a two-step process — first a written plan showing the exact amount going back to every player, then a separate approval before anything moves. What you receive depends on when it happens:
- Before the game starts — everyone gets a full refund: buy-in and fee.
- Mid-game (rare — usually after a serious technical problem) — the owner applies one of the standard plans: refund everyone in full; or, if the game was far enough along, split the remaining prize pool among the players still in — evenly, or honoring prizes already locked in with the rest shared by chip count. In hardship cases the owner can propose a manual distribution, with a written reason for every amount.
- Where the chips land — always your club chip balance, in the club you entered through. Check My Ledger; each refund appears as its own entry.
- Prizes already paid are never taken back. The plan only distributes what hasn't been paid out yet, and every plan must account for every chip before it can be approved.
